Yeast Flakes, B Vitamins, Folic Acid, Iron. Nutritional yeast flakes are produced through the fermentation of the species Sarrcharomyces cerevisiae on molasses. Additional nutrients (including folic acid) are added to the live yeast during a second fermentation step. It is harvested, washed, ?inactivated? and rolled into dried flakes.
Nutritional Yeast is a supplement to add cheese flavours to any vegan or vegetarian dish. Add it to soups, stir-fries, dips, spreads or as seasoning for salads, vegetables and rice.
